Summer...

Our Summer has been fun filled, crazy wet and wild! Look at my big girl Brookie playing in the slip and slide!

This is little Miss Savannah and her BFF Bethany making Brownies! The brownies were good, well what actually made it to the oven. Most of it ended up in or on their faces!

Silver Lake

Cute kids and a picnic at Silver Lake!

The kids went camping with their Daddy and Grandpa last week. They love it so much! Brooke isn't so fun when we're camping so we aren't invited. (I'm not sad about that)

But I went up and had a picnic with the kids and their Grandparents at Silver Lake, while Scott had to get something done for work. It was so gorgeous. It's one of my favorite places! We walked around, ate our sandwiches, taught Brookie how to throw rocks into the lake. It was a great afternoon!

Then after a great dutch oven dinner, when Brooke was completely dirty and completely ready for bed, Grandma and I drove home gave Brooke a tub and put her to bed clean and happy! I'm so happy when I can wash the smell of campfire off of me! I love the smell, while the fire is crackling... but once it's stale I have to wash it off!

Awww... summer!

4th of July & the Splash Park!

We had a great 4th of July! Obviously I only broke out the camera a couple times the whole day! Oopsy, I'm a GREAT Mom!

Anyhow... We had a fun 4th of July! I love the 4th, it's one of my favorite days! I love seeing the flags flying and everyone wearing red, white, and blue. It's a fantastic day!

We started the morning off nice and lazy by sleeping in. Then I made red, white, and blue pancakes. (I'm trying to redeem myself for breaking my kids. Maybe when CPS investigates they'll have a few happy memories. :) ) Then we went to my sister in laws house and had a great meal (of course), and took the kids to the little splash park. Brookie was in heaven! We tried to make homemade icecream, played dominoes, watched fireworks. It was the perfect day!
