Silver Lake
Cute kids and a picnic at Silver Lake!
The kids went camping with their Daddy and Grandpa last week. They love it so much! Brooke isn't so fun when we're camping so we aren't invited. (I'm not sad about that)
But I went up and had a picnic with the kids and their Grandparents at Silver Lake, while Scott had to get something done for work. It was so gorgeous. It's one of my favorite places! We walked around, ate our sandwiches, taught Brookie how to throw rocks into the lake. It was a great afternoon!
Then after a great dutch oven dinner, when Brooke was completely dirty and completely ready for bed, Grandma and I drove home gave Brooke a tub and put her to bed clean and happy! I'm so happy when I can wash the smell of campfire off of me! I love the smell, while the fire is crackling... but once it's stale I have to wash it off!
Awww... summer!

Sounds like a wonderful afternoon! All the camping experiences, but better cause you got to go home and sleep in a bed!
When we were in the valley over the 4th I thought of you and my other bloggers that live there. It is a huge place, so the chances of bumping into someone are slim..... Hope you had a great 4th.
You are my kind of camper :) The outdoors are nice and all...until I want to climb into my nice king size bed.
