Couldn't decide, Loved ALL the pictures!

Night before, just trying costumes on! Bunny Brookie!
Dracula giving Blue Power Ranger some candy!
Trick or Treating...
Cute decorated house, there were a lot of cute "done up" houses! Avery wouldn't go near a few of them, she's a little more timid than the others.
Keep going, there's more...

It'S tHe GrEaT PuMpKiN ChArLiE bRoWn

Avery "Tinkerbell" & her friend Cumorah in the Kindergarten Parade. (yes that little boy is picking his nose, I mean what else would a 6 year old little boy be doing?)
Savannah "Amber" (from Hairspray) In the big kid Parade at school. She wouldn't stop for me to get a good picture.
Me with my stinky Halloweened kids! They are pretty cute!
The Little Kids ready to go to the school for the Parades. Brooke decided she HATED that Piglet costume. It really really bothered her....
So we went with the "Polar Bear" costume for the evening festivities. She's so stinking cute!!
So, I have decided that Halloween is a total "Mommy Marathon".
It starts early in the morning when you get up & start putting costumes on & perfecting the look before they run out the door to school. Then it's back to get yourself ready & any little kids left at home. Then back to the school for the parties & parades. Depending on how many different schools you frequent, it can be quite tricky. Between Preschool, Kindergarten, & elementary school, things can be very much a juggling act. All the while trying to keep an infant happy & quiet! Which is especially tricky when the infant despises her costume!
Then you sprint home to get your traditional soup ready for dinner. (Which is so good, I have been looking forward to it for weeks now!) Then get dinner for the kids, because you're determined that they will eat more than just junk. After the dinner that is basically untouched because they are SO excited to get started on the Trick or Treating you re-apply costumes & head out the door. The excitement is completely contagious, even as you run around after your kids, & end up carrying everything for them. On the last leg, you even end up carrying two of the KIDS home.
Just as you think you've hit the finish line, it's time to put sugared up, ooberexcited, kids to bed. Good Luck!
Then, if you're like me. You reward yourself for making it thru the crazy Halloween Marathon, by sitting on the couch grabbing your laptop & "a few" mini candy bars & blog about your day!
I would hate Halloween, if it wasn't so MUCH fun! The kids are so fun to watch & you can't help but love watching them enjoy themselves!
It's basically Kiddapalooza, crazy costumes of their hero's & free candy for just knocking on neighbors doors! Good Stuff!!
Hope you all had a Fantastic Halloween!!

We Love the E.R.!

I know HORRIBLE huh? I was taking this with my phone while Sam was on my lap doing his first breathing treatment. Anyhow, we went to the E.R. with Sammy for Croup. He woke up at 11:30 p.m. on Sunday night & couldn't breathe. & when I say he couldn't breathe, I mean he COULD NOT breathe! It was so scary! So we RAN to the E.R.! It was a horrible night. The poor little guy, he was so so sick! He was rocking back & forth while trying to get a breath. Sad!!

We had an albuterol breathing treatment & cool mist. Then they took us for chest x-rays & while we doing that his breathing went crazy again! So, they had to hook him up to a second breathing treatment. Poor guy! It is so hard to see them so sick! He makes me sad, this picture is making me teary! Sad Sammy! He did finally perk up after the second treatment. So, we got to go home & didn't have to be admitted to the hospital. Phew...

Unfortunately he has Croup & Asthmatic Bronchitis. Poor little Sam Sam. Savannah & Avery just had nasty colds & Brooke is still fighting the nasties off. Hopefully she'll win the fight. I hate doing the baby RSV thing! Keep your fingers crossed!!

I tried Halloween Costumes on Brookie tonight. She has grown out of the couple I thought I had for her, so we are changing plans. She is so stinking cute & I took pictures of her in all of them. So cute, she then of course had a nervous breakdown because she didn't enjoy being my dress up doll. So she's in bed & we'll see what she actually ends up being tomorrow. Don't worry, I'm sure I'll share ALL the pictures with you!!

So, tonight I'm toasting my Diet Coke to sick kids & Halloween. Woo Hoo!

Colorado Friends!

Sweet little Maggie Mae, look at all those beautiful blond curls!

Baby Becca, look at those gorgeous blue eyes! I love these girls!
Last week we had a great visit from our favorite friend Jen & two of her sweet kids. Jen came out here to help her mom & I got her for an evening! She was going to come down to my house for dinner & that afternoon she called & asked if I would oppose to meeting in Park City. Huh, what? Sure, lets go!! It was a FABULOUS idea, I LOVE Park City. Little Katie was already set to babysit, so I had a sitter. Woo Hoo!! It was seriously the BEST evening I've had in a while!

We went to The Childrens Place & spent some money! Woo Hoo again!! Jen has 6 kids, & was getting Christmas & Birthdays done for the next year. She did a great job too, she got lots of great deals. Most everything in the store was $2.99! Holy Cow! I got a HUGE bag of stuff for next to nothing! Jen is also the BEST & brought me a 15% off coupon too. It was great. Jen got 3 HUGE bags & spent a little more than me, but not much! Great deals & great friends. What could be better?! I can't tell you how much fun I had, nothing like shopping a fantastic sale with your best friend.

It made me realize how much I miss her! Loveland Colorado was good to us, we left a lot of good friends behind. I miss them all tons. Jen will call me every now & then & tell me about a deal she got at Esh's. (a fabulous little discount grocery store that we would frequent together) I miss Eshs too!! Jen & I share a love for "deals".

Thanks for the great evening Jen, I love ya tons & tons! Tell Emma she's my favorite!

CeCiLy & ThE PuMpKiN MaN

Today we took a little trip up North to visit our new Blogg Friend Cecily & her cute kids! We all went to see The Pumpkin Man! Woo Hoo for The Pumpkin Man! He is a little more than strange, but the kids loved it. It was just a neat little spot full of crazy, funky, pumpkins & Gourds. Cecily & I both bought some crazy shaped Gourds, it was lots of fun!
Avery & Gracie hit it off fantastically. I think they might be sisters separated at birth! They were pretty cute together.
I can never get that stinker to look at me & smile for a picture.
Isaac weighing his "Mr. Peanut" pumpkin.

After The Pumpkin Man, we all went to the best place ever...McDonalds! Woo Hoo again! The kids loved it & played in the play land, while Cecily got to gab & gab. It was so much fun! I think that Cecily & I were also seperated at birth!

Thanks for the fun day Cecily!!

More Pix from The Pumpkin Man...

Yes, you guessed it...This is THE Pumpkin Man!! & yes, you're right, it's a little scary. While we were there a little boy sitting on a hay bale for a cute picture for his parents saw The Pumpkin Man, & freaked. It was good stuff!

The kids LOVED climbing all over the pumpkins, even when The Pumpkin Man told them not to. It was lots of fun & there were LOTS of cool funky looking pumpkins there!
Miss Evelyn!
Miss Brooke!
Savannah & her BFF Emily. Savannah & Emily have been trying to get together for a couple weeks now. So, we took her with us. They had tons of fun!

ThAnKsGiViNg PoInT & HaIr CuTs!!

I'm so slow! Last week we went to Thanksgiving Point for lunch & to look around the cute shops. It was a fun day out with just a couple of the kids & the Grandma!

They had the cutest fall stuff all around the outside. I had to get some cute pictures of the kids. As always Brookie looks very impressed! Sam had tons of fun helping pick out some pumpkins to buy! Cute kids!
We went to visit Little Aunt Katie at school & to get cheap haircuts! Woo Hoo! This is Katie cutting Savannah's hair. She did a great job!
This is another "Beauty School" girl cutting Avery's hair. She didn't do quite as good a job. Katie & I have both trimmed up a few spots on Miss AveryLyn. But, it was cheap so it's all good! Next time we'll just wait & have Katie do both! The girls look so cute with their cute short hair!
This is Sammy waiting very patiently for the girls to have their hair cut. He even held Brooke for me, so I could snap all the pictures! Cute kids!!

We're going up to The Pumpkin Man! I'm so excited!! Yay!!

Brrrrrr!!!

This is Sammy & his BFF Cole. They are the cutest little guys ever! It is so much fun to watch these two play soccer together. They are hilarious!
It was so stinking cold today, I don't even know what to say. The soccer goals were completely blown over the whole game. The kids were frozen to the bone, but still out there playing like champs! It was the perfect way to end the fall season, no one was sad to say goodbye to soccer!

The moms were freezing too! They were nice & prepared & had nice blankets to cuddle up in. I didn't get a picture of it, but the blue blanket caught some air a few times. The wind was positively bitter cold & gusty! Crazy crazy Blustery Day.
The day just got colder & more miserable, if you can believe that! It was seriously arctic out there. I mean look at that sky! This is Savannah in her Goalie shirt & her sweet little friend Emma. They are so cute! They were out of the game at the same time, so I made them sit on my lap & tried to keep them wrapped up in the blanket. It was so cold! (have I gotten that point across?) They were all troopers today, to go out there & brave the cold & play like they weren't getting frost bite!!
This was looking up my street in the late afternoon. You can see the weather coming down the mountain at us.
This was about 20 minutes after the first picture. The weather had gotten here! It dropped a good little amount of snow on us! Wow, not even Halloween yet & already some snow. And did I mention it was cold today?

I'm so ready to put on my jammies, & snuggle in. Today was the perfect "lay around & stay cozy in the house", we didn't get to do that, but I'm looking forward to the next one. I will take the time to be lazy on the next blustery day!

p.s. I got to meet Wendi! It was so cool & crazy b/cuz I felt like I already knew her & her cute kids. I just got to stop by for a minute. But, it was so fun! & Crystal I have treats for you too & I'm dying to hook up with ya! Thanks Wendi for letting me come by & showcasing my white trashness! I looked like poo, so much for first impressions!

Oh & thanks for the CD Wendi. I only got to listen to a little, but I love it so far!! I'll get yours to ya!!

Stinky Ol' Sammy

Anyone want to borrow my spatula? Yes, that is the device Sammy is using to SCRATCH HIS ARMPIT!! Little boys are just different creatures!
Speaking of Sammy he says the funniest things. While we were in Jackson Hole he was being a goof ball & I asked him, "Sammy where did you come from?" His quick reply was "Catt-Oatties" Which of course translates to Coyotes! He came from Coyotes. Which of course explains ALOT... He keeps me laughing most days. This morning we woke up to a little dusting of snow on the ground, & he comes running into my room screaming "Mom look it's SNOWYish outside!" Later in the morning he comes in laughing (& I wish I could describe his laugh, b/cuz that by itself would get you laughing), & he says "Mommy Me gonna go outside & make snowballs to throw in your eyeballs! ha ha ha ha ha hee hee hee ha ha!!"
He's lucky he's so cute.
Just a by the way...I threw the spatula away!!

More Pictures from Yellowstone & Jackson Hole

This lovely picture is for Dancin Queen. It's my cute family & their BIG mama! The kids & my husband are so cute tho. Look at Brookie all bundled up in her bear snuggly. Oh, & yes my hair is in braids, like I'm a 5 year old. It was windy that day!! This one you can kind of see the bear a little better. It's smack dab in the middle of the picture. I had a great one, but the stupid truck went right in front of me.
Okay, this is still in Yellowstone. These HUGE Bison were fighting right next to our car! I'm not using the Zoom on this picture, that is how close they were! I was just sticking my head out of the car window. Crazy! There were about 15 of those big guys right off the side of the road. The kids thought it was so "awesome". (That's a quote from Sammy, everything is AWESOME!)
This is Brooke "enjoying" Jackson Hole. We took the kids into town on Friday & did some shopping & had an old time picture taken. I'll have to scan those in, so I can share them too. But Brooke LOVED Jackson Hole, as you can see...She was very impressed!
Here are the older monkeys posing in front of the antler arch at the park in the middle of Jackson Hole. They are so goofy! That is Sammy telling you that he's watching you! The kids had just played tag in the park & then jumped in all the fallen leaves. They had a great time! Thanks Scott for a great trip!!

UEA, Yellowstone & the 3 Bears!!

For UEA (or Fall Break) weekend, we went to Jackson Hole & Yellowstone. We had so much fun the day we went to Yellowstone. The kids were great, even Brooke & we got to see almost every kind of animal they have to offer! The weather was beautiful, cold but not freezing & we had a great time! Here are my little cheeseballs posing by the Yellowstone sign! We did get a family picture in front of that sign, but I'm not sharing that one!!

All 4 of the monkeys in front of the Tetons on our way into the Park. Here is a very cute one of the stinkers with their daddy!
Here is The Sam Man "watching" Old Faithful. He wasn't so impressed that most the time he was looking for rocks, or crawling around on the ground. He's lots of fun! I did get him to land & focus on the stupid beautiful natural wonder for about 30 seconds. Just long enough to snap a picture that makes it look like he's awed by the whole thing. It was lots of fun though & I like to see Old Faithful. The last time we were there was for a family reunion about 6 years ago. So, it was lots of fun to take the kids.
I know this picture looks like a random snapshot of the forest. It is however, a picture of 3 BEARS!! You just can't see them, but I SWEAR they are there!! We saw a Mama Grizzly & her two cubs. It was so cool & we are the lunatics trying to follow the stupid things (from the safety of the road & close enough to the car to make a run for it) to take a picture. I know, we're nuts. But I promise they are in this picture, our zoom just isn't quite what I needed to get a nice tight shot of them. They were a little camera shy. (I don't know why) But, we had a great great time & I was a little sad when it was time to come home!
What did everyone else (those of us who live in the Beehive state) do for UEA?

Chubba Bubba Baby Brookie!

Brookie at 1 month
Brookie at 4 months
Holy Cow have ever seen anything cuter?! I was just looking at pictures & can't believe how much she has changed. She is so stinking cute, it's crazy! I LOVE chubby babies & I haven't really had one. Brooke is obviously making up for that. I love it, she has the best little chubby legs & fat little face! She is so Big it's making me sad. We love our little Brookie! Even when she's stinky & screaming. (which she is doing right now!, fun fun!)
I know you can't tell by the picture, but her hair is still just as CRAZY! It's thinned out a bit, but it still looks like she's just put her finger in the light socket. We were trying on her new cute winter hat & getting ready for the cold. She's not so sure about hats. We'll see how the winter goes & she doesn't have a choice, ha ha!
Hope ya'll have a GREAT weekend!

My FaVoRiTe LiTtLe GuYs!!!

So, these little guys are my FAVORITES!!! My cute sister in law Kami (& brother in law Matty) have 2 sets of twins! Nelson & Logan are the cutest little boys. They turned 5 this summer. They are Sammys favorite friends. And they are so different, I could just sit all day & listen to the things they say. When all three of them are together it's quite comical! Sammy is missing "his guys" quite a bit!!
They also have these two little guys, who are approaching 2!! Mason & Peyton, they are the cutest little things ever. (not that I don't love my Sammy or their big brothers) These two are so funny & you just can't help but fall in love with them! See what I mean...
Mason
Peyton
Oh my word they are so stinkin precious! I was on the phone this morning with Kami & she was doing laundry. She turned around & Mason was gone, she found him in the DRYER!! So she grabbed the camera & Peyton wanted to get in on the action too! I LOVE these boys!! Running around in their diapers & making a fort in the dryer. It doesn't get any better than that!!
They moved to Minnesota not too long ago & we are missing them tons! Sam still asks (all the time) if we get to see "his guys, Nelson & Logan". Sammy also calls Mason "peanut". I called him a little peanut once & it stuck for Sammy.
Cute Babies! We Love them!!

Thanks for the pictures Kami! Kiss the boys & the babies for me!!!

My kids have a Lame Mom & everything SMELLS!

Okay, so how bad do I suck? I just can't seem to get it together!! I feel like I run around like a lunatic all day & accomplish NOTHING! The elementary school had a book fair this week. ALL week long I told the girls we would go on Friday. So today after school when we get there all set to spend a fortune & a half on fun books for the kids on their fun "wish lists" only to find that the stupid book fair was over AT NOON today!! Holy crap are you kidding me? Of course my little Avery who is a bit more emotional than I'm used to; cried her little eyes out all the way home! Mom screwed up big time on that one! The saddest part is, that wasn't even the lamest thing I've done this week!!!
Avery has early day on Mondays, well instead of just getting out early the kindergartners have to be there 30 minutes early! Are you serious? That is just mean! I'm lucky if I can remember they get out early let alone, GET her there early. So, we have a few minutes extra from when we drop off Sammy til Avery has to be there. So, this Monday I parked IN THE PARKING LOT, & told Avery to WAIT until the bus got there because we were a little early. No lie I sat there like a total moron for 20 minutes until I realized the reason the bus wasn't there yet was because she was now 22 minutes LATE! What a stinking IDIOT poor Avery has for a Mommy!
So, when I finally came out of my COMA, I didn't take Avery to the office to tell them she was late, I just opened the door & told her to "RUN LIKE THE WIND BULLSEYE, You're LATE!! Oh, and tell your teacher your mom is just a RETARD! Have a nice day sweetie."
Then yesterday I had a women's church meeting. For those of you who know, it was Enrichment. So I have to make the reminder calls about desserts. Well a couple women who had signed up to bring treats couldn't come. And, they of course offered to just bring their treats & drop them off. Well, that's crazy talk, so I just tell them not to worry about it & I'll make the treats. Well, what the hell was I thinking? Maybe that I'm not an idiot & can actually pull something off. So the treat I was going to make, I of course didn't have all the stupid ingredients for. So I load up all 15 of my kids, (ya know 4 does translate to 15 when you're a nut job) anyhow, I load up the kids & run to the stupid store. While I'm there I CHANGE my mind about what to make. That right there was the nail in the coffin for me! I actually get all the way home & realize that I don't have all the ingredients at home I thought I did. So now I have 2 partial recipes I can make. Well crap, now I'm outta time too! So what do I do? you ask. I throw together a lame brownie mix & cake mix cookies & store bought frosting. I know, I suck...
So then instead of just going to bed for the rest of the week to not only put myself out of my misery but my kids also, I decide to still be a mom & finish out the week with a BANG...
Avery had her first field trip today. They were going up the canyon to a little park. She is so excited & can't believe she gets to go & eat lunch with all her cute friends too. Woo Hoo for Avery. I even made her PB & honey sandwich into a heart with a cookie cutter for her first school lunch. I know, I made HUGE points with her on that one. That's it for the week though, don't worry! Well, I drop her off & realize that the little hoodie I put on her today isn't going to work & all the other kids are in their stinking PARKAS. I guess the memo I got about just bring a light jacket was the wrong memo! Well, it was looking like the weather was going to get nasty, so most moms probably stuck their heads out the door before dressing their kids. I just stuck to the memo! I told you IDIOT! So, I FLY home & grab her big coat & FLY back down to the school & chase down the bus she's getting on to give her her coat. While doing this I am now going to be late getting Sammy to preschool. So in literally 3 second flat I make him a PB & honey & throw it in a baggie for the car & brush his hair! But we forgot his stupid school bag, (that's the 3rd day in a row!).
I then run to get my sister & we run to get a birthday present for our mom. Well, we can't go to this particular mall without visiting the Sees Candy store. So we run down there & end up waiting in a longer line than I've ever seen except for at Christmas time. Instead of forgetting about my stupid chocolate fix, I decide to wait. Well, to make a long story even longer. We finally make it back to get Avery, 10 minutes late & Sammy 15 minutes late!! Thank Goodness I know Sammys teacher & she knows I'm a SHMO. So, we're all good, right...
& then the damn book fair disaster happened. It's been a GREAT week as far as moron moms go!
Just as icing on my "stupid" cake, my house smells like a dirty diaper exploded in it. And, I can't seem to find the stupid thing. I swear it's clean, but it still smells to me! YUCK!! I keep walking around sniffing everything & I think there might be a corpse rotting in the back of my car. I'm still investigating.... HELP!

I just threw these pictures in just for fun. These are a few of my cute nieces. It's Morgan, my Avery, Ryanne (as That Girl) & Hanna. Cute girls!

This is my Sammy. He dressed himself for preschool! What a guy, I think this look is called casual black tie! He's the BEST!
