This is Sammy & his BFF Cole. They are the cutest little guys ever! It is so much fun to watch these two play soccer together. They are hilarious!It was so stinking cold today, I don't even know what to say. The soccer goals were completely blown over the whole game. The kids were frozen to the bone, but still out there playing like champs! It was the perfect way to end the fall season, no one was sad to say goodbye to soccer!
The moms were freezing too! They were nice & prepared & had nice blankets to cuddle up in. I didn't get a picture of it, but the blue blanket caught some air a few times. The wind was positively bitter cold & gusty! Crazy crazy Blustery Day.
The day just got colder & more miserable, if you can believe that! It was seriously arctic out there. I mean look at that sky! This is Savannah in her Goalie shirt & her sweet little friend Emma. They are so cute! They were out of the game at the same time, so I made them sit on my lap & tried to keep them wrapped up in the blanket. It was so cold! (have I gotten that point across?) They were all troopers today, to go out there & brave the cold & play like they weren't getting frost bite!!
This was looking up my street in the late afternoon. You can see the weather coming down the mountain at us.
This was about 20 minutes after the first picture. The weather had gotten here! It dropped a good little amount of snow on us! Wow, not even Halloween yet & already some snow. And did I mention it was cold today?
I'm so ready to put on my jammies, & snuggle in. Today was the perfect "lay around & stay cozy in the house", we didn't get to do that, but I'm looking forward to the next one. I will take the time to be lazy on the next blustery day!
p.s. I got to meet Wendi! It was so cool & crazy b/cuz I felt like I already knew her & her cute kids. I just got to stop by for a minute. But, it was so fun! & Crystal I have treats for you too & I'm dying to hook up with ya! Thanks Wendi for letting me come by & showcasing my white trashness! I looked like poo, so much for first impressions!
Oh & thanks for the CD Wendi. I only got to listen to a little, but I love it so far!! I'll get yours to ya!!

OHHHH I love this time of year!! We woke up to a sprinkle of snow but it was melted minutes later. No one played soccer here this year so I did not have to bring out the big blankets for games!! Was kinda nice actually after doing it for the last 13 yrs. Your kids are sooo darn cute!!

That's so cool that you got to meet Wendi and are gonna get together with Crystal too! Those girls are so fun, I want to be their best friend too!

The snow picture was awesome ... but you can keep it, I'm NOT ready for snow .. it hangs around WAY too long in my humble opinion! We always seem to have snow on or before Halloween here too, so the longer it hold off the better! Glad you won't have to sit out in the cold any longer this year. So cool that you've gotten to meet Wendi and soon Crystal in real life. Cute pictures of the frozen kids!

Wow, that weather looked ominous! Out here in Price country, we don't get that cool weather, we just get WIND. Ugh! But it's cold, so it makes me want to snuggle in too. Here comes winter!
