Here is my little Avery. She is almost 7, and pretty much a big kid and can do most anything a big kid can do. One thing she can NOT do is lose teeth! About 6 months or so ago we went to the Dentist and he pulled her bottom front two teeth. The big ones were coming in and pushing the baby teeth out. When the Dentist pulled them out he was quite surprised to see that the roots had not broken down one little bit. Those stinkin' things NEVER would have come out on their own! Yikes.
Well that was before Maddie came along...Just to back track. That stupid tooth had been loose since last May. So, in the hopes that Avery would let me rip that nasty thing from her mouth I told her that she couldn't go to school until it was out. (obviously that did not work!)
So, the other day I was baking like a mad woman for a neighborhood block party, when I hear this crazy hysterical laughing coming from the basement. Then the laughing started to spread to more than one crazy girl, and then it was clear the hysteria was running up the basement stairs towards me.
When I turned around this is what I saw... Avery with a huge HOLE in her mouth where the nasty snaggletooth, used to reside. And Savannah and her friend Maddie looking quite pleased with themselves! As it turns out, my precious Avery was trying to BITE Maddie. (I know, she's a gem) and Maddie put her hand up to block Avery and her stinkin' trap... when Avery started spitting, until she found her tooth in her hand!
Woo Hoo!
Yay, for Avery and her craziness and for Maddie for FINALLY knocking that nasty snagletooth out of Averys mouth! *Now we just need to work on NOT biting our friends. hmm... How do I teach that little life lesson?
