Okay kids, I need some serious help! I am in such a huge menu RUT! I have been making the same few things this whole winter & it's getting OLD!! I need your ideas! It doesn't even have to be in recipe form, I'll even just take ideas. For example, we like Parmesan Tacos. There is nothing crazy about these. You just prepare like regular tacos, with all the regular fixins. Do corn tortillas, that you fry in oil. (I prefer white corn) When you take them out of the oil, put them on a plate covered in paper towels & sprinkle with good ol' grated parmesan that you would put on your spaghetti. Then set the cheesy shells aside, & build like normal tacos! So so yummy & a little twist on taco night. Obviously NOT a Weight Watchers kind of a meal... But yummy!
Now I'm ready for your ideas! I'll post your recipes & ideas on the recipe blog! So, email me or leave them in the comments!!!
I posted our Family Favorite Meal on the recipe blog, find it here! Enjoy!!!
Can't wait to hear all your ideas & recipes!

Hey Kate, I just posted my Menu Monday on my recipe blog (supercoolmomsrecipes dot blogspot dot com), I've got six more weeks standing by, with shopping lists. I'll email them to you, but because my kids are picky they're not too wild, just regular food that picky kids like. I haven't done up all the recipes yet though, but I'm working on it. If there's anything there you don't know how to make, email me back and I'll get you the recipe.
Thanks! That would be fabulous!!
I'm too lazy to retype but my new favorite recipe is White Chili, it's on my recipe blog.
My whole family like quesadillas--cheese ones for the kids, and Brian and I throw chicken, scallions, and bacon on ours. I serve it with sour cream and refried beans for dipping. Very simple and quick.
Peer pressure: I think you should post menu plan monday on your recipe blog!
I don't have a recipe blog or anything, I'm not that motivated. Sorry! However, we bought "Eating For Life" which is the cookbook for "Body For Life". We aren't on the diet plan or anything, but we LOVE all the meals in there. They are fresh and usually fast. It might be worth a shot!
Nothin says lovin like cookies in the oven. I think that's how it goes. So, just have cookies and milk and everyone is happy.
I'll have to think about this, I'm kinda in a not wanting to do dishes or cook or anything in the kitchen rut. Ugh. I'm just not inspired lately.
I'm with you and Girly. My rut is bigger though because I haven't been out of it since I was pregnant with Ev. Yea, I know. I stink. Someday I will be cool like all of you and actually cook more than once a week. :)
Until then, I'll ask my mom and my sister if they have any great ideas for you other than magic chili and chicken nuggets...
I'm with Cecily ... ha ha.
You guys are too funny! GirlyMom, I checked out that recipe website. Thanks!
Well this is not too exciting but I find one of the tastiest things I make is Vietnamese Chicken. Just take chicken thigh and marinate them in half soy sauce and half vinegar for a day or two. Pat dry, sprinkle with garlic salt and grill or broil. So TASTY!
I have some new recipes~ I think you'll like them...easy!
Since you brought up tacos...
Fish tacos, use the same white corn tortillas, use two fish sticks per taco, shredded lettuce, tartar sauce, provolone cheese, diced tomatos if you have lots of energy, and there you go.
