Awww...Look at my rosey cheeked, chubba Baby Girl!! She's getting some kisses from her Daddy! What a couple of cuties!
Grandpa Norm got to spend Saturday with us. We had a great day with him. He got up & took Avery & Sammy to breakfast. He was putting snow tires on Little Aunt Katies car, & the Littles went with him "to help him". They love going to IHOP, it serves more than cereal, which is all Mommy serves. Fun fun!! They had fun with Grandpa & got Katies tires on. She is now ready for winter.Later that afternoon we took the kids to see The BEE Movie. It was pretty cute, gotta love Seinfeld! It was a cute movie & the kids loved it. If you're thinking of going, I'd recommend it! Even Brooke sat thru it. Well, most of it.
Here is Sammy with "Stripes" this is the Zebra he got in the Hospital the night we took him in. As you can see, he put his oxygen mask (the dinosaur) on Stripes face. What a cute boy!
We really had a fun filled weekend. Nothing much to report, just a normal "Alger Family Fun Day!"

I was like, six before I realized that Cookie Monster and I weren't related. My dad always sang "C is for Cecily, that's good enough for me...", so I thought he must be a long lost cousin or uncle or something. I also had a bright blue furry coat that I wore every week to church that I was sure he sent me as a present.
I was so disappointed when I learned the truth.

The Littles! LOL!
I don't make cookies often because once I make them, then I have to eat them. And eat them I will. Every last one of them. Hopefully not in one sitting, but you never know.
Therefore it's safer to be cookie-free except once a year when I order a box of Samoas from the local Girl Scouts. I freeze them so that I have to eat them slower.

I SOOOO Love spending time with Family!!!! I am glad you and the kids had that time with Grandpa!!! My mom and stepdad will be here this next Sat for the week!! We have not seen them in almost a year!! Give that baby some kisses for me!!

Kami's friend here. Love your blog, your family is adorable. I wanted to let you know about that blue seat my little Owen (age five months) is in. Its called a Bumbo and its great as a place to prop him up on the counter while I cook or do my makeup. Although, I have to be right by him the entire time as it isn't sturdy and he is a mover! Mine came with a tray too, which will be great for traveling as a portable high chair. I heard something that they were recalling these, not sure if its true or not, I could see why they would be dangerous if left unwatched.
I think I may make a batch of them for thanksgiving, though i'm a little confused about the flour part. are we SUPPOSED to add flour?

I didn't know how to add that bloggy award to my post either, and then I figured it out. You right click on it and 'save picture as...' on to your desktop, or laptop or whatever, in a folder or something, like wherever you keep your pictures (ramble ramble ramble...) and then you upload it like you do your pictures. It was a lot simpler than I thought it was going to be. Hope I was helpful, ... ? Knowing me, probably not.
