Miss Brooke playing while the preparations for Thanksgiving were going on! She had help from her Big Brother with all the toys he piled on her & her hat. Sammy was having fun "keeping her happy" for us.
I forgot to take pictures of the set tables & everyone eating. (I was busy with 2 Turkeys & the last minute fixins.) So this is the "aftermath" with kids playing & adults loosening their belts on the couches.
These are a few of the kids talking on the webcam to Kamis boys in Minnesota. They talked to the boys & their grandparents. Gotta love technology! Cute kids!
This is Grandpa Woody with Allie & Brookie. Grandpa is so stinkin cute, we just love him. He made his famous yams for dinner. Yum. Thanks Grandpa!!It was a crazy, fun, hectic, hilarious dinner conversation kind of a day. Thanks to Scott for being such a stud in the kitchen. He's fabulous with the turkeys! I only had to kick him out of "MY" kitchen once. ha ha! Thanks to everyone who came & brought great food & helped. It was a fun day!!
I'm off to the gym to try to repair the damage from the whole weekend!!

She only kind of keeps them on cuz she can't quite pull them off yet. She tries & gets frustrated & cries til I finally take them off. SHe's funny. She does have moods where she doesn't care at all. Funny little mood swings. I wonder where she gets those, ha ha!
Cute, cute! The kids on the webcam is too cute. I wonder what THEIR kids will think of that pic. Will that technology be obsolete by then? Something bigger and better, huh?
I put hats on #4 all the time when she was a baby and now she wants to wear them even when I don't want her to. "We just combed your hair, sweety!" "I WAN MY HAT!" Whatever. Guess that's what I get! (growing up with three older bros doesn't help!)

This was a Thanksgiving for our record books! Kate made enough food for all of our family + a troop of soldiers! I love any holidays I spend with my favorite cousins and I just wanted everyone to know it was the absolute best, and thank Kate for all the amazing food and Kate and Scott for opening their home to us. We love you!

Thanks for the nice e-mail. I clicked on your friend Shannons blog and noticed that she is friends with many people that I was in a book club with a few years ago. Funny how blogging makes so many connections.
What a fun day without us! Thank heavens for the web cam though. Aubrey said she was with her favorite cousins and that hurt a bit. :) I'm glad you survived-it sounds like everything was a hit.

Oh, and I love the TV at the end of the Thanksgiving table! The guys got to watch the football DURING the meal huh? LOL!
Amy - I love hats on kids. & it's funny by how kid #4, you don't care. (at least for me) With #1 I wouldn't have put the hat on her cuz her hair was so cute. Now, I'm like whatever too! ha ha
Carrie - It has been so nice! Especially since Kami & her sweet family moved right before I had Brooke, & they've gotten to see her on the webcam! It's a beautiful thing. I think I have more fun than my kids, getting to see Kami's boy! It's also fabulous when the hubby is outta town! Avery got on there the other night to show her daddy her missing teeth!

Marcie - How funny that you would know some of Shannons friends! What a small world! Shannons family lived in California in the same town as my family when I was younger. She was older than me, & I thought she was so cool! My sister hooked back up with her a few years ago. She is such a sweetheart!!

I have to comment on the fat girl post below!! I am always the fat girl!! Right now I am the heaviest I have beem since I met my hubby and he is the lightest. I am so fed up with myself lately! Now I am upset again and have to go eat a cookie to feel better!! You go girl with the gym stuff! I am so allergic to gyms so I can't go. Ohhh chocolate cake sounds good right now. You know I really am not sure why I have gained so much weight these days. LOL!!! Maybe we can inspire each other!! But that gym stuff is OUT here there is NO allergy pill strong enough!! :)
